Can We Have Some CLARITY

Can We Have Some CLARITY

I have and I am sure you have prayed over and over for clarity from the Lord. After that, I have had to rehearse and clearly think about all God has spoken to in His word in the past. Then I have wander through my lack of faith and assurance of my adoption in Him.

I believe I need look to Him, my God for confidence…

We tend to look to an unbeliever for confidence in our calling in life. We start believing we must fit into the “mold” made by others or our calling is not valid. We have a fear of being different or misunderstood or even judged. Our fear of people is far greater than our fear of the Lord. This is idolatry, and it stops us from the joy of walking behind God’s leadership.

We look to our circumstances for confidence. We live by sight rather than by faith. When results are not right away, pats on the back are not quick, or conditions are hard or monotonous, we think we have missed how God is using us.

We look at those who are spiritually confident in their calling. We turn to the left and to the right and see brethren boldly using their gifts, and think “they don’t ever deal with uncertainty or setbacks or criticism. It would be easier to be them and to have their calling.” Then we believe either God is partial or we are inadequate for God to use us, or some combination of the two.

Then, I read 2 Corinthians 2:14-17. Hear is our humble, responsible confidence…

“But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God’s word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.”

God leads us in triumph wherever we go. Please Him along the way. Do What’s Right...
